My review:  5 Stars!

Joe Konrath is a talented writer.  This is the third book I’ve read of his and I can’t wait to read many more.  I’m reading the Jack Daniels Series out of order, and it doesn’t matter, I’m never lost during the plots in the book. Like the other books in the series, there is lots of action and suspense, some blood and gore, and a touch of mystery.  Just when you think the case is solved and the book is done–BAM!  He hits you with a twist to keep you wondering what will happen next.  What is also refreshing is that a lot of his main characters, the good guys, do get hurt or even killed.  It makes his writing completely unpredictable.  I would highly recommend this series.
